I once took a 997 cabrio out for a loaner as a prospective purchase. Some difference from the Boxster that I had been used to driving; much more grunt (felt like a grown-up version of the Boxster) but you could certainly feel the extra weight sticking out the back, especially when exiting roundabouts. You get a real feeling of confidence when driving a mid-engined car; the 911 might be the more desirable Porsche, but for pure driving experience, give me the smaller brother any day.

...hence why the GT4 had such great reviews when it came out. I think the 718 GT4 (road-going version) will be in equally great demand.
