Lock down in about 10 days, no firm date from Hatfield but early April build date.
Working on spec but will changed my mind about Crayon when I show one at Hatfied.
The colour looks really different then on the configurater especially when unwashed and black side blades.
Thinking about S Blue now.
Don't like the 18 or 19 inches wheels but must decide soon.
Have anyone got discount or anything other freebie?
Will now be thinking of disposal of the current SD.
Arrived July 2023 - S, Silver.
Arrived April 2019- S Petrol in Sapphire Blue & 21” Spiders. Sold
Arrived April 15 -diesel S, Agate grey & 20 “ spiders. Sold

I had a look at the new Macan whilst in my local OPC and its just not different enough to warrant a change at the moment for me.
I went on the confuserator and specced the ‘S’ model to virtually identical to my own and it was touching £70k.

With the hit the Diesel S has taken my near 4 year old 19k mile macan is worth nothing on trade in, I’ll lose the deposit and all the payments over the last 2 years and in effect it will have cost me circa. £10k/year to run it, thus ill not be seeing a new Macan anytime soon.
Absolutely no point even thinking about it when its a perfectly well specced, low mileage great driving motor.

Good luck to those buying a new one.

Hi PB
There was a mention of a memo from Porsche on 17/01 raising the possibility, but OPC implied it would only apply to orders after that date, nothing since!

My Feb build/Delivery March, is now 05/04 complete production, expected arrival at dealer late April (OPC opinion),although the Porsche schedule says 10/05.
It looks like there's a few of us on the same boat. I placed my order on 4th January, I was told I had an OPC February build slot and later given 10th May as the delivery date.

I think that you are a very fortunate man with a great vehicle and no good reason to replace it. If diesel was still available, it would be on my short-list. All the BS propaganda re diesel doesn’t worry me the slightest.

What he said. Mind you if you fancy red lining a big V6 then remember you die only once and until then live every day.

I’d like a GTS or Turbo Macan one day :)

Im guessing i just got in to the cycle of Macan ownership late thus didnt reap the rewards of no cost ownership of the early days and bought a Diesel just before the government screwed us causing the residuals to plummet.

I consider my self extremely lucky to have a 991.1 TTS to play with so the Macan DS is my daily.

They are fantastic motors so any new generation will be ‘better’ and as i say, Good
luck & happy motoring to those ordering a new one :)
