Fair do’s to JLR.

They have come out with it.

What did VW do, deny and cheat.

A freind's RR Sport broke down 8 x times in 6m. He's so fed up that he's getting a Lexus RX as he believes it will be bullet proof!

A bit desperate when they have to go to the expense of low rolling resistance tyres to squeeze it below the emission level. Having said that no doubt the British "jobs worth" regulators have given the British company a much harder time than the Germans did to their manufacturers who seem to have been waved through with a minor tweak
They"re all at it. Our 2019 model Leon FR has regular summer pattern tyres, but runs 2,9 front / 2.7 rear pressures compared to 2.2 F / 2.0 R for the 2018 pre-WLTP model. So another way of getting low rolling resistance!

I've already told SEAT if the centres wear out first then they buy the replacement set ;)

Can the owner refuse refactoring of the vehicle that achieves lower CO2 emissions and higher sh!t experience?

If they surgically removed horse-power from under my bonnet and gave me donkey-powered vehicle, I would demand my money back!

Currently in the UK you can...if the recall isn't safety related then not having it, isn't a MOT fail. Certainly in Germany any outstanding recalls is a failure of a HU test.

So, if new petrol-driven cars will now be fitted with a filter like the diesels were, will they also suffer with clogged filters if they mostly do short trips in city traffic ?
