Thanks - yep - I got that - But, if you turn to 0, how do you then turn it back up other than going through the menus? I think it really does need a better way like on the BMW idrive...

If you want to mute the whole system a quick one push on the main set volume does that (not sure if that’s what you’re looking for?)

(It seems to loose Blutooth control and you have to reconnect via device manager to regain it OR assign your steering wheel button to "skip track"...very annoying!
Turn using rotary knob on steering wheel the MFD screen to media press knob ,tracks appear which can be selected by rotating and pressing wheel again. Then press back button on steering wheel to return MFD to normal

Thanks for that. The issue is that after 1 track completes and the second Track starts, that functionality (on the steering wheel and mfd) is lost until I restart the Bluetooth connection in the device manager. Very strange and very annoying. I demonstrated this to my dealer and they agreed it's a software bug.

If you want it on, turn it on, if not turn it off. I don't see the issue here to be honest. If you want volume up on the radio you turn it up, want it down turn it down, or off! 😁

My point I'm trying to make is this - (Keep in mind new facelift system). If you had announcements turned off by default (0) and half way through a journey took an unfamiliar detour for example and wanted announcements switched back on, there is no easy way to switch back on without going through menus.. The functionality is there but its an arse to get to when you dont want to take your eyes off the road. It would have been nice to have an "announcements on/off" control in the navigation page of the MFD.
Anyway, has anyone had any luck with Car Connect yet and getting their activation code?
