Yep but why are they different???
....because the fronts do all the work and need a more heat resistant coating...or just because...

The rears are possibly a steel calliper which requires a different type of paint finish than the fronts which are aluminium and have an anodized finish. As the finishes age and go through heat cycles the colour will vary between the two .

This must be a strange Porsche thing, the calipers on both Sq5's and S5 I owned all matched, the same applied to my other Audi's and Merc GLC Coupe. Logic and sense suggests if the front calipers require a certain finish to handle heat generated during braking then make the rear calipers the same so all 4 match, hells bells we pay enough for these things...

Bet you'd see it different if the front and back wheels on your Macan were different shades. The fact is we pay a fortune for these cars and it's not rocket science to fit calipers of matching colours. Nice wheels with mismatched calipers showing through. If Porsche get it right on some Macans why not all? I've only been with Porsche 4 months and in that time I've become surprised at how tollerent Porschee's seem to be with Porsche faux pas, the common transfer box failure being another example....

Cheers Robbie seems as though it's standard on the 2.0L for some strange reason....

I think it looks really smart with the two tone brakes .It marks the 2 litre out as being very special.Goodness knows we get enough stick from S /Gts/turbo members,it’s good we can be different.Let’s celebrate the 2litre as a little gem in the Macan line up.
