when I bought mine I was researching then looking for 2 months

90% had 21" turbos , a few had 21" sport classics and one had 20" spyder

I did see one with the standard 19" turbo wheels, it was the cheapest OPC car and didn't sell the whole time I was looking, I did wonder why the OPC didn't switch the wheels and add 2k to price as its probably still for sale :)

Having followed a slow yellow 911 down the hill from Goodwood racecourse to Singleton this morning ( a R reg turbo I suspect admiring the view) that is even before you have painted the car yellow so it matches the brake callipers!!!

I am afraid I beat you on the configurator. I could not keep either of my two attempts below £80k.

Wow - this is working out expensive! The Macan Turbo was £59k when it was launched. That was a £16k jump from the £43k S. The refreshed one just shy of £69k means it's gone up £10k in five years. Plus it's a near £20k jump from the S model.

My Turbo configurations are coming out around £78k, and that has a reasonably basic interior compared to my GTS. No sign of the turbo interior package that the pre-refresh car had.

The price is well into Turbo PP territory. To be fair though, it does now come with sports exhaust, surface coated brakes (PSCB), and of course a 440PS engine.
Current - Macan III GTS

Note last year's Macan Turbo started at £63,981. So price increases averaged £1k a year on the Turbo between 2014 and 2018. The 2019 price of £68,530 is a near £5k jump in just one year.

So an extra £4k jump over the 'usual' £1k increase. I guess most of that would be down to the PSCBs and the PSE.

Am sure they'll still sell well. ;)

A lot of the £5k could be explained by £2.1 k for the brakes plus £1.7K for sports exhaust totalling £3.8 k leaving £1.2K unexplained or the years inflation
