Parked next to this little white number today on my 6 monthly visit to the dentist

Last month a gang of dentists descended on Alexander’s Prestige near York, all driving super cars.

Wish I’d have gone to medical school now!

You could have bought a nice little 997 cabriolet for less than the price of your new Macan ;)

I think that Dentists deserve the money they earn and should enjoy their super cars.

Just imagine working in a tiny facial cavity with people squirming and panicking for no good reason.

I would rather work with computers [emoji38]

Forget dentists ........ I was booked to play (the Scottish Highland pipes) for a 50th birthday celebration. Both the host and his colleague, whose birthday it was, were plastic surgeons. The host's house in Surrey was the size of a medium-sized hotel: must have cost millions. The host's daughter showed me round: outside, the acres and acres of grounds were stunning. The girl pointed to a thick copse of trees, a few hundred yards from the house. She told me that, behind those trees, were the family's two helicopters - a two-seater and a four-seater ! I understand that plastic surgeons typically work privately as well as with the NHS.

There are lots of different ways to make money and I'm sure there are some very wealthy people who visit the forum. In fact anyone who can afford to buy a Macan is likely wealthier than average and we are not all dentists or doctors.

I have a pal who is a dentist. When he was a student he was constantly broke. The day he qualified he managed to persuade some lender that he was a good bet and he went out and bought a Ferrari. I was impressed.

Mind you, it went very quickly after he got it. Engine out for anything mechanical, no bill less that £1k - about 20 years ago.
