Just browsing on AutoTrader when I came across this 69-plate Macan S that claims to be the "Highest UK Specification" up for £82k
Now that's what I call expensive!

I have wondered how much you can add to a macan in extras, but never been bothered to click all the boxes, so pleased someone has had a go for me. It's missing a few still though - the natural leather and heated/ventilated seats are surely a must at this dizzying level of £86k list spent. Plus a premium paint ftw.
Something is funny here. Why spec a car to £86 k , never really drive it and sell it immediately with an initial offer price of £82k which may not be achieved. Are OPC's giving discounts of the order of well more than £4k to make this effort anything like worthwhile? Has someone ordered a car then lost their license or become subject to illness or suddenly decided to emigrate?

We are subject to Money Laundering Regulations and as such we undertake a variety of checks to ‘verify’ our clients. Whilst we endeavour to keep these to a minimum, there will be occasions where we are required to request personal documents such as Passports, Residence Cards, Driving Licences and/or utility bills. In such circumstances we will discuss those requirements with you as soon as possible.pmg wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 8:49 pm Something is funny here. Our confidentiality obligations are subject to a statutory exception: recent legislation on money laundering and terrorist financing has placed solicitors under a legal duty in certain circumstances to disclose information to the National Crime Agency. Where a solicitor knows or suspects that a transaction on behalf of a client involves money laundering or terrorist financing, the solicitor may be required to make a money laundering disclosure. If, while we are acting for you, it becomes necessary to make a money laundering disclosure, we may not be able to inform you that a disclosure has been made or of the reasons for it because the law prohibits 'tipping-off'. Where the law permits us, we will tell you about any potential money laundering problem and explain what action may need to be taken.
