Hardly any change to the prices in relation to my GTS spec (PLA76VI1) In fact a touch cheaper.
The only difference being is that front seat heating is now standard......at last!!
Alcantara has been changed to a material called Race-Tex which is almost identical from what I have read.
2021 Model year now on configurator

To quote literature ... "Race-Tex” material a high-quality microfibre material partially consisting of recycled polyester fibres. So a man made material and therefore not similar to Alcantara. I experienced this on the seats of a recent Boxster loaner and was not impressed.

My immediate reaction was at least that might make Nick Murray happy on his YouTube Channel.paulmac wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 5:43 pm To quote literature ... However when I look at the Google definition of Alcantara and of microfibres is is almost like it is a just rebranding:-
"Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane, giving increased durability and stain resistance. The appearance and tactile feel of the material is similar to that of suede, and it may be erroneously identified as such"
"The most common types of microfibers are made from polyesters, polyamides (e.g., nylon, Kevlar, Nomex, trogamide), or a conjugation of polyester, polyamide, and polypropylene. Microfiber is used to make mats, knits, and weaves for apparel, upholstery, industrial filters, and cleaning products."

2019 Macan S Porsche code PKW8WKI8
But you still have to select the alcantara interior option to then find sport-tex to optionFSB wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 12:02 pm Hardly any change to the prices in relation to my GTS spec (PLA76VI1) In fact a touch cheaper.

Whilst not many people (apart from me ) will have opted for it, Traffic Jam Assist seems to be no longer available. It's also not possible to select Model Designation in Red on the sideblades even though it still shows on the configurator.
The speed limit indicator now shows as Traffic Sign Recognition with Speed Limit Display.
Overall effect on my spec is roughly a £700 price reduction which is not bad.
