I thought the use of multi-cylinder to mean 6 was confined to Autocar journalists
I will admit this is one of my flash points. In my youth Velocette, Norton and BSA amongst others made single cylinder motor bike engines. All other automotive engines have more than one cylinder and are therefore multi-cylinder. As it takes much less time to type six, I can't see how this trend has taken off.
Rant over, to get back on topic I see the GTS I have on order as almost certainly beeing the last petrol engined car I will buy. Helps to justify ticking so many options.
