If you spend a lot of time a low speed in traffic, nice audio may be worthwhile. At speed, perhaps less important.

After 12k miles any running in was done long before I got there. I searched and found another thread that pointed to external details regarding running in. Interesting reading, I didn't think it was so essential these days as I thought a lot of the bedding in was done prior to delivery.
Thanks for the info.

I would spec rear airbags. Many car-crash related brain injuries / deaths are as a result of the occupants having their heads smashed against the side windows.
Yes, a two-ton car may survive the impact, but that won't stop those inside being thrown around.
I couldn't live with myself if someone in the back died in a side-impact crash because I'd scrimped £260 on rear airbags and spent it on the waste-of-time SC instead.

You make the Macan sound like a death trap for rear seat passengers. It has full curtain airbags down both sides to prevent exactly the head injuries you describe. The option for additional rear bags adds them to the rear outer seat sides at hip/waist level. Additional protection maybe, but not fulfilling an absent requirement that you perceive.GWL wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 1:30 pmI would spec rear airbags. No/Volcano or Crayon/ SC yes/20” GTS spyder ( they are unique and a much better ride all round) also rear airbags if you don’t want your passengers to spill their 20 year malt from their hip flasks when impacted

I have heard it said if buying a GTS keep it as near to GTS no option looks as that helps value at sell on as buyers want a GTS to look like a GTS.

Thanks, I assumed there would be airbags. To be honest, I am surprised anything safety related is left to be an "option".Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 10:03 am You make the Macan sound like a death trap for rear seat passengers.
