Mrs old 981S was agate.

I liked it to be fair but definitely know what you are saying - maybe a bit marmite like crayon

Nice car in very good condition. I now see why people say the RWD car handles really well :) . The only thing I didn't like was the brown tinge on the Agate Grey in certain light conditions. This stopped me putting in an offer on the car. The hunt continues ...
Personally (says the guy with the yellow car) I wouldn’t let the Agate Grey put me off, if you like everything else about the car. I see that Top 555 have a new Cayman GT4 (4.0 litre) in Agate Grey. That looks quite tasty!

I personally think a 911 deserves something more showy than a stealth colour. Also RWD is a much purer driving experience with the bonus its one less thing to go wrong.

I agree, says Mr Racing Yellow Carrera T! But the vast majority of 911s out there are monochrome, being various shades of black, white, grey and silver.

Ha ha, I would have been disappointed if that comment hadn't got a "here here" from you Wing ;)

5 years gone and still love my agate with brown accents. Previously I always wanted a Mexico blue 911 but not sure if I’d get bored with the colour after a while. I do think the bold colours look good on a 911 tho

This one appeared yesterday on Porsche used:

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911 ... upe-222097

Has a big spec and carbon ceramics which I am not sure about after Reds post. It doesn't have the Sport design steering wheel which I want. Spoke to the dealer yesterday. A one owner car from new with very low miles. The price is very strong for a 7 year old car.

It probably wasn't that much more than that originally. I got around 80k at trade in for my 2018 991.2 GTS so I think they're having a laugh at that price although they might just get lucky. if you were trying to trade it in I doubt they would offer much above 50k

Yes definitely having a laugh ... you could get a decent 991.2 at that price. I ran it through WBAC and the offer is £52k.
