No joy anywhere, Teesside the same no gts available pre facelift.

Looks like a warranty extension is on the cards till I can get a facelift gts (if there even is one)

Ordered and paid deposit in December, initially promised a May build slot but got a call mid January to say it had moved forward to an April build slot. The GTS was available earlier than an S when I placed the order.

Have a contact at a Yorkshire OPC who says that slots are hard to come by and even if they get more it’ll be Aug/Sept delivery for them.

I suspect the many of ones left will be in the south as that’s where most Porsches are sold - might want to try London? Reckon you might have some luck there.

Going to place a deposit tomorrow with the slim chance it might get me a car if any slots open up, if not it’ll be 2022 if there is a gts then.

At least I have my current gts so it’s no great shame 😂

Lack of slots = another boost for GTS residuals maybe?

I put my deposit down in September on a GTS, my plan to take delivery in April / May. Tewkesbury told me they were only given 3 slots for the first quarter of 2021. Starting to feel I won't be getting my car now :(

I think putting a deposit down is a good move because it will give dealers more leverage with Porsche to secure some more build slots to meet demand before production ends. I don’t think they’ll turn it down. Fingers crossed! :D

IMO the chances of another GTS in 2023 are pretty slim. As per Porsche tradition they usually come 18 months after the launch of an updated model, and with speed limiters mandatory from around then and emissions rules always tightening, I think a hybridised 3.0L is more likely to plug the gap between the base petrol and turbo versions, with the electric version being more money on top of that.

Porsche are behaving very strangely towards the Macan atm. When I was doing my GTS at the turn of the year I asked about the Turbo, as I thought I might as well go all out and you get yet more kit as standard, and that was also a unicorn in terms of build slots. The lead time was going to be “at some point before Christmas” so I stuck with the GTS slot I had. Glad I did! Also glad I didn’t get the S which I was looking at initially - they seem to be the only facelift Macans on the road around here (Cheshire area).

We’ll just have to see what happens.
