Over £5k for the GTS interior package!

I had the 991.2 touring in LHD which I loved but had to sell as despite the folding buckets did not have rear seats. As the original touring was a hit of an afterthought to make some ppl happy after the R craziness I really thought they would correct this with the 992. Offer rear seats options. For me that would have been the forever keep car. Baby seat in the back for the odd trip out with my son. But still focused enough for a solo blast.

Missed opportunity I think.

And no the GTS and Turbo do not fill the same brief.

They choose not to make enough to satisfy demand, so their marketing for GT3s seems to be a choice. The demand would be even higher if they offered GT3s with rear seats, with even more frustration, flipping and profiteering etc.

^^^ Ha ha ha! No!! Those days are behind me.

I’ve had my Carrera T for over 38 months since new! A record for me! Over 34,000 miles done and no plans to change it... :)

I read in Autocar that there should be a 992 T launched towards the end of the year - maybe that will be the real sweet spot?

I saw that. I think that’s pure guesswork on the part of Autocar, but we’ll see...

Obviously, the Carrera T is the sweet spot of the 991.2 range! ;)
