Ok, so starting a thread about colour may not be the most masculine thing in the world, but it is an import topic. It will also, no doubt start a lot of arguments.

I cant afford custom colours, so lets rule those out, but what do you guys and gals think about the colour options on the new Macan? The more I see the orange the more I like it (plus my son has an Orange MX5 so we'd having matching cars) but I do worry it shows off the new plastic trims a bit too much so have specced Volcano Grey metallic......for now.

For those who are about to order one, or just those that like to comment on such things, have at it......

I’ve got an order in for a Gen 2 GTS. I ended up picking Dolomite Silver but really from a position of ruling the others out.

It’s a personal choice but I didn’t want a flat paint so that ruled a lot out. Of the new colour I like the Python Green but it’s a flat I think.

I quite like the Papaya. It appears to be a slightly burnt orange metallic rather than something outrageously bright and flat, but that's only going by my screen. Only when seeing it in real life would we be able to make any proper judgements IMHO.

Thought I wanted Silver but probably Volcano Grey in the end.

I like the orange too but SWMBO is not a fan and prefers Crayon.

Whats the usual amount of time between submitting your code to an OPC before they call?

Think there will be the usual pecking order?

i’m with you on that. i think i’ll leave the order at Volcano Grey and then hopefully get to see the papaya one before mine goes onto production so i can change it if i decide to. its the same price.

interestingly my Aston was Meteorite Silver, but it looks pretty much identical to Porsche’s Volcano Grey

Placed an order for an S beginning of May for the facelifted model. Specced volcano grey but was fairly sure that I would change to gentian blue if available but sticking with the grey as think it looks better on the new model although the orange does look abs fab but maybe a bit niche for me! I’ve got a September build slot 😀 with delivery in October so feeling very happy 😀.
