UK Motoring Press Review
apart from the extra black plastic on the nose don't all 3 models look identical?
You can spec up a base and S to look like GTS, But GTS has below as standard :OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 9:24 pm apart from the extra black plastic on the nose don't all 3 models look identical?
Different spoiler design in Gloss black
Sport sideskirt, Front and rear apron painted
Sideblades are different with GTS writing
Sport exhaust system painted in black
This is what’s on top of my head, Might’ve missed something
.... and if you can spot them and id the model on the road it'll prove your a savant!

No, extra black trim on the GTS as standard includes: blacked led lights, black wheels, black exhaust tips, black badging, side window trims in blackOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 9:24 pm apart from the extra black plastic on the nose don't all 3 models look identical?
You can get all this black on the S but need to pay extra for it.
I thought that was a nice summary of how to be the most profitable car maker. Create a model with extra cosmetic and tuned items that do not cost more to produce. Create an image for the model that people want to copy and then charge extra if they choose those items separately.sd1985 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 8:29 amNo, extra black trim on the GTS as standard includes: blacked led lights, black wheels, black exhaust tips, black badging, side window trims in blackOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 9:24 pm apart from the extra black plastic on the nose don't all 3 models look identical?

So, basically, to pretty much everyone that’s not a total anorak, the 3 models look the same.pmg wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 9:12 amI thought that was a nice summary of how to be the most profitable car maker. ...as do most 911s over the years.
Quite a few anoraks on here, me included!

Well yeah, I suspect we’re all anoraks ( we’re on line on a car forum afterall). But those people with lives are unlikely to see a Macan and instantly say “ that’s a GTS” ( unless they have the foresight to look at the boot ).Wing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 9:54 am ...as do Macans I, II and III.

I struggle to tell the difference between a Cayenne and a Macan, never mind the version and trim level. OK back lights are the only quick way I can do it.
