EDZ wrote: Sun Nov 07, 2021 11:08 am You can have a complete set of wheels refurbed (or colour change) from as little as £40 per wheel just as I have in the past. Why pay £1000's :o especially if there is a wheel you like but not the colour
Yeah I’ve looked into this too - thinking about having ours powder coated in gloss black. One place I’ve seen says around £300 for the set which seems a lot more reasonable.
Very sensible :D Use what you save for some other useful extra. Good Luck.

Expensive for a colour change but does look good
It’s not just a colour change. They are forged wheels whereas the standard S are flow form.

Quick one, I can see they are they standard wheel design (look good to me and thanks for sharing) but I thought the standard ones you get with the Macan S were shiny silver on the outer parts and brighter than these ones tbh as the “20-inch Macan S wheels painted in dark titanium” standard option at no extra cost….or do you think the ones pictured are the ‘ 20-inch Macan S wheels in Vesuvius Grey’ option at £1,764 ? Just hard to see them on the configuration with not many real examples you can see
I think this is what you're looking for maybe? (I've just been looking through the photos I took when I was at the OPC before locking my build a couple of weeks ago.)

Just my 2 pence worth here but I think Miami Blue needs the black contrast. It just doesn’t work otherwise. That was also the sentiment of the SE when we were speccing my car. I’ve gone for Miami with 21” black GT wheels and no chrome.

Went to West London yesterday with my wife for the test in a gen 3 (2l as the gts is on customer loan). Reinforced some material elements we want to go for inside to make it as plush as the previous car was, however there are a few spec points I’d like some assistance with.

GTS interior package in Crayon - does anyone have any pictures, I’m really struggling to find a car in real life with this. I’m particularly interested in what ‘colour’ the seat belts actually look - we don’t want cream coloured belts….

Power steering plus - anyone have it and convinced it was worthwhile. My wife had previously said this was a must but the demo car didn’t have it and she coped with manoeuvring……

Gear knob in carbon - anyone actually seen this in real life. Someone mentioned that the knob is a little plasticky compared to previous and I agree, so looking at options for this. (Had originally spec’d it and then took it off after seeing the corresponding wheel with carbon)

Storage package - the under seat storage and seat back pockets. Any thoughts? Any photos of the seat back pockets?

Thanks

Matt
