That’s nice Simon, will be interested to hear what you think. When my 911 was in last week for 4 year service and new tyres I was offered a BMW. I declined.

Hi Nick,

To be fair, Tewkesbury have always been good on loan cars - always Porsches - including Boxster, Cayman, Macan, Cayenne and Panamera. Only time I got a BMW from them was when Emma (now Sales Manager) lent me her company convertible when my new Panamera was delayed.

I have had a few non-Porsche loan cars from Swindon - BMWs, and on one occasion, a Toyota!

Today’s Cayenne was very nice. If I needed a big SUV, I’d be tempted. I ran it today mostly in Sport Plus mode! It’s a big old wagon though!

I was lent one to go for my Silverstone PEC session, felt like driving a lorry, a very fast, plush lorry to be fair! I do like the grab handles on the centre console though but in my view they'd be more use in a Macan...

Had plenty of regular ones but not that one

My SE put me off a Panamera version which worked well as I bought 911 instead

Hi Mark. Yeah, I saw this one. Also modified by Litchfield Motors. Better equipped than mine (e.g. PCCBs and carbon bucket seats etc) and with a MUCH lower mileage. Nice car.

I don't think it met its reserve and was pulled. I checked on it about 20 mins before the end of the auction and it was on 73k...im not sure what it finished on though but I doubt it was near the 'buy now' money they want now!

Great spec'd car. Can't be many with folding buckets and rear seats (should have done the houndstooth on these too), manual, pccb's and no sunroof....
