Bling is all about who you are trying to impress. If it's people you don't know then drop it. If it gives you inner joy then go for it. Someone on here specced the fuel cap and was asked why, as no one ever sees it. He said that it would give him pleasure every time he filled it up. That's reason enough.

Options reflect personal choice. Two years ago, my wife and I had a test drive in the then new Gen 2 GTS. The demonstrator was fitted with the Alcantara roof lining. We both said "wow, that looks great" and added it to our spec. Never regretted it.

Totally agree Peter, I just think that one is overpriced even by Porsche standards.
But then what do I know, I specced black brake calipers… 😂

Use the loud pedal and the GTS still makes a great sound, even with the insulated glass. Mind you, I must confess that my GTS only has a sports exhaust because it came as standard.

Yes I had it as standard on my Fpace. It was ok but never really spend any time looking at it or touching it. Really it’s a choice between one man made material or another, no big deal to me but if others are willing to pay for one over the other, then that’s fair enough 😉

Yes I guess so, I think its standard with the Python package I've specified and to be honest I probably wouldnt have specified as one of my options if it wasnt id have stuck with the other.

I am a believer of keeping Options to those I use, and not to bling up the exterior with goodies I only see when going to my Macan or whilst cleaning it.

The only bling on my Turbo is the Sports mirrors, standard ones at the time were on a cheap and nasty looking plastic stalk so upgrade was necessary. The other is an Alloy Gear Shift, an aesthetic masterpiece.

My other options are for comfort and those I use like ACC and Surround Cam, only included a Pano as the interior is to Audi like and dark without the Pano.

The ride of your Macan will seem vastly superior to the Go Kart ride quality that you will be used to with your Audi’s, I had an Audi Q3, utter rubbish compared to my first Macan.

Enjoy fiddling with the Confuserator and good luck with whatever you decide are your own Must Haves.
Good point
Agree with you on the Pano only really getting it to lighten up the interior as I have had the Audi version of pebble grey before and hated it and red is just not me.
I am looking forward to having a better more dynamic drive compared to the Audi.
Confuserator now that is an understatement
