Thanks Simon, I think the way prices are at the moment on every description of 992, the GTS is some 25-30k over list. The PTS is about 4k more than Crayon so I think it's probably not much of a risk. In due course when supply starts to increase and prices settle, might not get the full 4k back on PTS or 6k on Ceramics but should get a decent proportio.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 7:21 amHi Arif,
You’re pretty shrewd with your purchases. Do you think you’d recover the extra cost of PTS, over the cost of Crayon? And how much time would it add to the wait for a new 992 GTS?
Cheers,

Looks like 911 prices are stabilising, in the US… UK not so much

Arif, looking at your signature… do you currently ride 992 C2S? How do you rate it?MacanArif wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:47 pm

Why are you going to GTS? I see you had GTS before. Is it so much better, or is it part of your seasonal ritual of sort

Hi Pivot, sorry I've been lazy with the signature should have changed it. Had a 992 C2S when it first came out then sold it and then bought a 991.1 Turbo S (never had a turbo s so had to scratch that itch). Looking forward to going back to a newer 911 with the 992 C4GTS, would have gone 992 turbo S straight away if I had the choice but unfortunately that has a 2 year plus wait so going for a GTS in between.Pivot wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 7:28 amArif, looking at your signature… do you currently ride 992 C2S? Not sure what flavour Ferrari this is, but parked outside local Costa with no front plate (similar to mr Harris) - is this an endorsable offence, or just permissible on £200k cars?

I doubt that this Ferrari gets out much. I suspect the owner is willing to risk a fine, if he or she feels the ‘cleaner’ look of the front of the car is worth it.

In some states in the US, the law does not require a front plate at all.
I expect that Chris Harris’ new car now has a front plate on it, of some description.

He has a very distinctive plate on the rear (his name is clearly Phillip) but apparently it is only £100 fine with no points, although I think that may change soon.
If he gets caught three times a year, I suspect he feels that is small change for the privilege?
