Have I missed anything essential from my GTS spec?

Evening everyone, I locked In my final spec today which I’m told is due for delivery on 28th of October to the dealership.

My dealer managed to get me up the que significantly as they had a cancelled order from a gentlemen relocating to Singapore. (Placed my deposit in January 22).

After careful consideration taking into account a lot of your comments I decided to remove some items from my original post, mainly due to the cost aspect.

So here she is my final spec locked in as the finance APR is due to rise, if I change my spec the rate will go up.

Wait. My delivery date is estimated before yours (mid-October) but my OPC told me my freeze date for spec is 17th August (with an end of August build!) Now I’m worried as you’ve been asked to lock down your spec already. How soon before the build slot should spec be locked??

Your OPC is right however I was advised my Edinburgh to get my spec locked in sooner rather than later as there was a possibility that they could potentially build it sooner.

They might just be talking rubbish but who knows.

I agree with this, I know of examples of cars specs being locked early with little warning

I locked. my spec on the 11th Feb. Build was 9th May. However the spec and VIN were locked into the Porsche Sooperdooper. MasterBuilder computer on the 18th Feb as evidenced by the date on the sticker and tag pack you get. Once the VIN is allocated you are in.

So my advice is get it in ASAP.

So I was recently told by my SE build date is 31st August with lockdown of 27th June but advised me to get lockdown in by 14th June.
I went in and he showed me the screen and lockdown had changed to 7th July so things can change, it might have been earlier.
As others have said get you final spec in as early as possible in case build schedules change.
