^^^ I'm wondering the same with my 30 month old Macan!

Without minimising the individual dissatisfaction, it is a small number of issues out of the 30 or 40 cars that have been received on these pages. If we acted on whatever negatively could possibly happen in the future we might as well stay in bed every day.

Get your car and if it has issues flip it and make some money.

Very good point, especially as I’m not trading in. May keep my existing car and parallel run for a couple of months :)

Usually drive around with the window open locally listening to the wonderful pops and bangs but headed out for a long run in the heat on Friday and tried the air con for the first time. Despite trying everything it just cooked us for 15 minutes. Happened to be passing OPC Sussex where tech confirmed I wasn’t doing anything wrong and that it wasn’t working.
Will book the car in tomorrow with my OPC and will ask them to keep it until they can fix the sat nav too!
European maps updated today on the way home so the car is connecting to something up there!
:-(

Bummer. Sorry to hear that. Despite comments others have made, I wonder how many people have received a truly issue-free Gen 3 Macan?

Wonder how much having to source parts outside of Ukraine has caused some issues? Certainly there seem to be issues with 2022 models that aren’t affecting my 2021 model (22MY).

I’m hanging on to my trusty Merc for at least a couple of months of Macan ownership. Any annoying issues and it’ll be gone. Not used to any of the things I read on here with my last 3 cars :(

In fairness Skyway, and hopefully to ease your mind, mine arrived without issues and remains that way. No panel gaps, leaking roofs, dodgy headlights etc.
air con works a dream and the whole car still looks fab, including the pebble interior which looks lovely like it came out the showroom yesterday after 2100 miles and nearly three months 👍

Only real issue I have had to date is with Panel gaps. The gearbox is being a bit chonky at the moment but I’m not sure if that’s a real problem or just me being a bit over-sensitive.

Good to hear yours is behaving itself. Though it pains me to say it, I suspect the vast majority of Macans are absolutely fine. People tend to post more when they have issues than when they don’t.
