Not having a big budget we decided to buy a nice 2015 Macan S 3lt Petrol with 2 owners and 18K with lots of extras.

Full Porsche Service History and Porsche Extended Warranty till December. I talked to Porsche Leeds and found out it had a new Transfer box fitted in 2020, nothing else done from new.
I pick the car up Monday. Two questions 1. Any idea how long the new box will be guaranteed for? 2. Would you extend (if they will) the Warranty in Jan?

I would extend the warranty in January if you intend using OPC's for service.

Congrats a good equipped car, plenty of extras.

Definitely IMO extend the warranty, but make sure you extend before the existing expires to avoid paying and having to have a pre-inspection done. They can be expensive to repair should anything go wrong, especially as they age. I would also believe that the warranty on your transfer box has now expired (if you did not have extended warranty) as I believe it was seven years from new purchase date despite what repairs or replacement is done in that period, but the extended warranty will cover it.

You did well to find one with such low mileage and such a pretty good spec.

Two concerns:-

spare wheel.

lights, cr4p halogen were standard, xenon’s were extras.

Thanks for the replies, will post a few pics later and check out the guarantee on the transfer box after a few days of having a play. Porsche Leeds can give me a full printout of life from new when I have all my Doc's so will talk to them then about extending the Warranty.
