Just had the Transfer Box changed on my Macan by Porsche Silverstone under the Porsche warranty - what a difference ! They also did a recall ANB5, said it was something to do with engine management system. Have web searched but cannot find any detail of this recall. Does anyone have further info they could share about this recall?
Thanks in advance.

I had notification last Friday. It is described as Mandatory and relates to EU Regs and official fuel consumption figures. In other words correcting what every driver of every car knows inasmuch as the published mpg figure is unobtainable. To this end the visible side of the update will end the automatic activation of ‘glide’ or ‘coasting’. But it will still be able to be activated manually - ie by changing up. What else it does, if anything else at all, is currently, unknown.

One exception is a broken stop mechanism - a buffer - on the drivers mirror. OPC (2!) are trying to tell me it’s because of vandalism albeit there’s no exterior evidence whatsoever. How’s your metallurgy?
