There are some great deals to be had right now. I love mine but as the technology is still new and the used market so volatile, I was only ever going to lease it. Best decision I made last year :D

The media constantly report that these Tesla price cuts are because they can't sell their cars, due to "the competition". Well, the truth is that Tesla can sell every car they can make, and that "the competition" can't sell every car it makes and can't make any profit either. Tesla is so profitable it can play with pricing to (a) regulate waiting times, and (b) make life difficult for "the competition".

The key is to short term lease them but not to buy. I would be furious if I were one of the thousands that paid £6K more for my Tesla a day before the price drop.
