First post...so be nice.

Car had wheels freshly diamond cut before purchase. However signs of minor clouding.....so getting redone.

Seems you can't keep diamond cutting alloys (learn something new each day, but makes sense), so they will need to be painted or powder coated.

Issue is...car is agate grey. So what colour to go with?
Car still has satin trim around windows, which went well with diamond cut alloys, but don't think will go with a gloss black wheels.

The wheels in question are the 21" turbo alloys.

Got to be classy satin platinum! Silver is too ‘old school’ and black is a bit too ‘boy racer’ (Hard hat on for incoming) Oh - and I have satin platinum wheel centres to match 😉

Quite like that.
Was thinking titanium...but platinum would work too.

Personally think it depends on the model. Although others disagree.

GTS the signature colour is black wheels, although some do deviate from this. I think that looks best with the black trim.

Whereas the Turbo had more chrome and silver/platinum wheels tied in with that nicely.

S is a grey area depending on the vibe of your car

I was going to ‘upgrade’ my silvers to platinum satin once they started to look tired. Even bought brand new centres to match. Alas, Macan sold before colour change so have original centres in my loft 👍

Each time the wheels are cut some of the metal is removed. With this style of wheels the black gaps between the cut silver on the rim can be lost but I guess you’ve learnt this.

Platinum might work. As said it’s personal. I have a strong dislike of black. If I ever buy a car with black wheels first thing I’ll do is change the colour.

GT cars have ‘Weiss Gold’ but I don’t think that would work with grey?

I have searched online but can't seem to find 21" macan turbo wheels that are single colour....apart from black.
All others have the diamond cut finish.

Fwiw, I'm not keen on diamond cut alloys, never have been.

"Old school"? How very dare you?

My silver wheels still look good and they're the easiest wheels in the world to clean.

Diamond cut is the standard for your wheel design. They can usually be skimmed up to 3 times maximum dependant on style. They are a pain though when clear coat fails they look awful. With Agate grey wouldn’t personally go for black (and I’m a black wheel fan) As already stated “Satin Platinum” would look good if staying with genuine Porsche colour. Lots of variations on the same theme with other manufacturers if you are able to choose any colour.
