Probably the delivery. Those with SC are 0.2 sec quicker than those without according to Porsche spec.

New GTS has SC as standard and has more power than Gen2 GTS.
I think that’s what the OP is saying…

Without wishing to start a back and fourth, what makes you feel launch control is 'cringing' ?

The way it thumps in to the next gear - would you drive a manual like that..
