Hi There
I have finally put the deposit down for a new S, now the long 12-16 month wait allegedly!
I still cant decide if I should go for the Pan roof or not due to the issues people have had, plus a never use a sun roof but the light is nice - but if I dont go for the roof I could get the lighter interior which would be nice! Real world problems eh!!??
Still nice to meet you all and good to see the forum is quite lively
Cheers
Stuart
New S
Quite lively? Too damn lively sometimes! To save any of the usual suspects asking post your Porsche code so they can interfere with, sorry, over advice on your spec. although opting foran S has saved a fair bit of noise already! Good choice!
http://www.porsche-code.com/PP37WLA6, a Dolomite Silver S, collected from Stockport OPC on Valentine's Day 2023, after a 399 day wait.

Welcome.
What Neil totally failed to say is that posting a Build Code is mandatory.
We feel a Newbie is not serious unless we can collectively add at least £5k to the poster’s Build Code cost.
Probably the only reason many of us have a Pano is to lighten the interior, for some reason known only to the VW Group they have this thing about dark headlinings, having a lighter colour has only recently been available.

Which OPC? Did they tell you 12-16 months? I think the wait time has come right down now. My S is expected in around 4 weeks which will be ~6 months since ordered

Not everyone has issues with the roof!
Makes it much lighter inside and I can probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve opened it while driving.
Different with the 911 as I like to hear the exhaust !
