Software Update Bose sound system

I understand that my car(Macan S 2022) requires a dealer update on the Bose system.
Has anyone had this done ,was it worth the effort ! ?

I have the Bose system, but have not been informed about any updates. Even though on a recent visit to the OPC some 3 weeks ago, it had the dash update done.

I think mine had this done at the same time the main pcm etc update was done.

My 71 plate Macan is in for its 2 year service this coming week and that update is being carried out at the same time

What does the update “do”?

Besides “updating”

Maybe it puts it in for all those cars delivered that didn’t have the port at the time because of the semi conductor issues. !
