Talking of Range Rovers we actually went looking at them but my small Wife could not climb up into the passenger seat so we forgot that idea.
How many wives do you have Col and do you identify all of them by size?

Three at the last count! Small wife, medium-sized wife and big wife! I don’t think they’ve ever met!

Ouch, get at Col time

Two Wife’s, current Wife is “Small”, first Wife was “Diminutive”.

I’ll let you know about the third Wife in due course!

The divorce of “Small” Wife will make the news, it will be the first time a long dead German has been sited in the Divorce Papers.

The German concerned died, of natural causes 500 years ago, so no blaming Col.

crockers wrote: Sat Aug 05, 2023 9:32 am This has nothing to do with Porsche but a friend of mine called the NFU for a quote and they told her they are no longer accepting Range Rovers due to the high levels of theft.

Hmmm I can see a lot of farmers being miffed. I don’t know if that’s for existing cars on renewal but it is for new applicants.
Farmers are using Toyota’s and Suburu’s pick up trucks cos they need reliable cars. 😳
There was a similar story about 928s many years ago but it appeared to be only new applicants, i never had a problem.

Renewal for the Macan that replaced the 928 and my Suzuki went through ok, conversation about the premium next week!

We went to look at an F-Pace years ago. My wife couldn't get into the showroom model as a strange bar came out from under the sill when opening the door. She then lifted the boot floor handle which came away in her hand. The salesman said "don't worry, we know about that."
The discovery in the showroom wouldn't open its tailgate as "...it has a flat battery."
Fortunately these events, plus my personal involvement with JLR and its workers, put us off their products forever.

Don't think they like people that live in rural areas either for car insurance. NFU are consistently amongst the most expensive in my experience.

+1 for cost. Their quote was 3 times what I pay.
