Sick to death of my bags and other bits bouncing around in the boot when I drive in my usual 'sedate and considerate' way (not how my missus would describe it perhaps!) I was looking out for a second-hand one of those expensive Porsche aluminium kits that hold your luggage in place. I already have a net (from my last car) which helped, but physics dictated that it wasn't good enough.
While looking I found these which I think are a relatively new addition to the Porsche gadget and gimmick shop:
https://shop.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/p/fle ... 0004400135
I ordered a couple and they work really well with very grippy velcro.
At £23 each they're a great solution for me - even though I was thinking about the aluminium struts, I didn't really want them as they appear (from photos) to be fixed in place and probably harder to live with.
Just thought I'd share my experience in case anyone else has difficulty with g-force!

My boot is near empty! So a net suffices for anything that goes in there temporarily
Just means you carry too much junk & extra weight around burning fuel unnecessarily

Sadly my "junk" is associated with the work I do to pay for both the car and the fuel, so it's a bit of a "chicken & egg" situation!
I suppose I could retire and swap the Macan for a mobility scooter...

In the 911 I used to have I had a stiff sided cordura type box and the base was full Velcro! Great bit of kit and never moved an inch. I still have it but it languishes on the garage floor. I’ll try see what ‘make’ it is and see if they still make them.
