I don't think that would be enough to persuade me to buy an unused old model Taycan. Porsche will probably end up registering the things and quietly putting them into trade auctions and letting them sell for whatever anyone's prepared to pay..

As for the many hundreds of unsold used Taycans, surely the root cause of the problem was stuffing loads of the things out on business leases, where the depreciation risk falls on VW Financial Services.

They have helped ease their issue by bumping up the list prices considerably of the Gen 2 Taycans. Makes the Gen 1 prices look a bit better.
