Would I be right in saying if you get for example a 2 year old Macan from an OPC, you get one year of the remaining new car warranty, then a further 2 year warranty when the new car warranty expires ?

No, wrong. You get 2 years total warranty cover from the purchase date.

When I bought my Macan S from Leeds OPC it was just 2 years old, & I got the remainder of the original warranty plus 2 years of the used car / Porsche approved warranty, ie 3 years, which has since been renewed for an additional 2 years.

This is correct. And the same for cars older than 3yrs, as under:

If you now buy, say, a used June 2020 Macan whose owner had had an extended warranty applied in June 2023 for 2 more years to June 2025, the OPC would add 2yrs to the end of this so you would have extended warranty to June 2025 followed by used approved warranty to June 2027. 3yrs 3mths in total.

Our June 2019 Macan, purchased Oct 2023, came with extended/used approved warranty to June 2026. Made up of: Oct'23 to Jun'24 - balance of previous owner's extended warranty; June'24 to June'26 - 2yr used approved warranty. (2yrs 8mths warranty in total.)

This wasn't the case for me. I bought my Macan from OPC last August and I got the 2 year warranty added to the 1 year remaining warranty it already had. So 3 years total.

If you look on the Porsche website at used Macans it states how much of the warranty is remaining for each specific car. They'll all differ.

I've already quoted the exact words which Porsche use on their website. Perhaps some OPCs interpret the wording differently.
