I have just picked up a new Gen 3 a few days ago with standard sound system.
Is there a way to adjust the amount of change in sound level per each step (click)? Currently, the difference between each step is too big for me.
Gen 3 Volume Control
I’m not sure what you mean, both the rotary dial on the left of my steering wheel and the more standard volume control below the PCM screen seem to have very low incremental steps on my car. I’ve not counted, but there must be 20-30 ‘steps’ between silent and too loud.
I have Bose, but I’m sure the volume control will be the same on the standard system.

But it just appears that the Gen 3 standard system has a larger incremental step. It reaches a very loud volume when it is only 1/3 of the full scale volume bar.
Maybe I’m just getting deaf then as I can turn my volume up to about 75% before it’s too loud . But then I’ve always liked to crank up the vomlume in the car, family members complain if I forget to turn it back down.

No. I have the problem with my Gen 2.
One more step = too loud.
One less step = too quiet.
Very frustrating.
