When I had winters for my Carrera T, I used to put them on in November and take them off in March (to coincide with when my MOT was due). 7 degrees centigrade is the tipping point if you have a crystal ball.

Lovely set of 19” Carrera wheels with winter tyres still for sale (as they won’t fit over my upgraded brakes). :)

I used to find the best guide is fit when the Brent Geese arrive from Siberia and remove when they depart but as I rely on an OPC to do the job , they require a bit of notice

I tended to switch to winters at the end of November and back to summers in April, usually towards the end. In the last year I owned the car it was the end of June 2020 before the winters came off but that was down to Covid rather than the weather.

I wont forget that trip because as I reversed off the drive to head for the OPC, a rear spring broke.

I concur with British Summer Time change. Give or take a few days depending on the weather conditions on the day. Dry and relatively warm is best obviously as the ones that come off get a full valet and treatment befor being put away for the season.........

As WingCo : lovely set of 19" Sport Classics with winters.............for sale

I put the winter tyres on my car 20th November 2023 ( Usually done at start of Nov but ambient temps were still high.
Going to put summers back on 25th March this year.

Should be OK with that, but in General fit winters start Nov and summers start of April but those that said when clocks change isnt a bad shout.

Cheers GTB
