Probably the right way to go. Sold many cars privately over the years but a couple of years back sold my wife’s Golf GTI, as new condition, one lady owner FSH and just 10k miles. It did go to a decent local guy for the full asking price but the number of chancers I had to deal with beforehand was very time consuming and frustrating. Since then sold two through car wow and one through Motorway, also good experience with Prestige Performance. Really no interest in private selling from hereon. Having said that if anyone wants to make me a sound offer for my current GTS sometime end of next month, I might be interested
Your 2024 GTS is pretty much my perfect spec. Contact you in a couple of years for a cash deal?

They have a generally good rep yes, would definitely try them direct but the carwow process forces a bidding war and the way I did it I was not committed to sell at the highest bid value. Think dealer pays carwow £4-500

I bought the 996 from them many years ago and it was all easy, decent price and not too much haggling over the trade in.
They seemed to do quick turnover on a short stocklist.
