Ok, Finally I have my car back yesterday , I wrote to the two dealerships outlining my grievances explaining about the warranty aspect and copied in UK and Germany, result was that they have capitulated and have jointly paid for the repairs so I am happy to have my car back all fixed. Sorry the reply and conclusion took so long but this has been the time it took to get a resolve, thanks to all on the forum for the great advice and encouragement without whom I don't think I would have got this result. Cheers guys :)

Well done. Its always the case, unfortunately, that you have to stand your ground and don't let them bully you. Sadly, many will be fobbed off and walk away. This was the only fair and reasonable outcome in this situation.

Glad you got a sensible outcome in the end. And thanks for letting us know how it was resolved.

I've had a few arguments with OPC Leicester over the years. They've always capitulated in the end.
