Time to lock down?

I placed an order in May and I am still waiting to decide on spec.

Could those who have experienced it, let me know what the process is? How do you get notified and how long do you have to lock down your spec?

Once lock down what is the normal time from there to build, to delivery?

I'm not actually worried how long it is, but would like to know to be able to plan for the change.

In my experience the dealer phone to say to come in and lock down, deliver was then 6-7 weeks later for myself.

My dealer emailed me a couple of weeks before my lockdown date and asked me for the final spec. My lockdown is on 29 Aug and my delivery date is sometime in Nov. I'm told they can't give an exact date at this point but it will definitely be in Nov, so we're talking 8 - 12 weeks after lockdown. This is for a Macan Turbo through Porsche East London.
