Malk. Can you leave the Macan in Sport as cannot do that in 981 as it defaults back to Stop /Start after engine switch off.

OMG, I thought you had a petrol. Based on that, it seems to tie up with the other forum which says very low 20's for petrol at a push!

If you do short town based journeys in the Petrol then 20mpg will be as good as you can expect as that is what I get in my much lighter PDK 2.7 981 Boxster. On Motorway runs I would guess 30 mpg for the petrol Macan. It will be interesting for me to compare what I get for my diesel when it arrives but I think high 20's around town is likely and high 30's on a motorway run.

That's pretty spot on. That's why we chose diesel I guess!!!

Stop/start button is obviously just as easy to hit as the Sport button and yes it reverts to normal so have to boringly press the button every time Wink

Malk. If you just hit the Sport button you do not have to press the stop/start button as Sport automatically turns off Stop/Start-well it does on my 981.

Yep already said that, may have been on a dif thread. Someone was moaning that the sport button should be on the steering wheel - TFL? Can you not programme the 'spare' button to do this or is it just for PCM functions? Ours is set to last Nav instruction.

Still getting 28.4mpg average in my Macan S, granted not many miles on the clock yet and I don't drive like Lewis Hamilton but I suspect it will only get better once the engine loosen up.

I'm also swinging to getting the 21" turbo wheels, which look amazing, either on black or white Macans, and ride very well provided you go for PASM. Really would be interested to know Triple7 what the road tyre noise was like, the 19" were whisper quiet.

Hi Steve, yes we took the diesel demo with PASM and 21's on our test drive, we didn't sit for any length of time on a motorway at cruise speed, when the roar can can be more pronounced on smooth, changing Tarmac, but aside the ride which was excellent, we were both very impressed with the quietness inside the cabin. So for me the Macan is very well insulated and tyre roar is not a factor.

The 21's look awesome.
