Having been an Evoque driver until March 1st (and fairly happy with it, to be fair) I recently received an email from Land Rover inviting me to find out more about this "beauty"... Am I tempted...?! Erm... Nope!

I do like the look of the Evoke with the roof.

The convertable looks like Noddy's car.

I did go and look at one before the Audi but put ioff by the SE who said I was welcome for a test drive and for me to come back after I had arranged the insurance, .......... Two plus years later I am still arranging it.

Because with the roof up it will look like a Rover (i.e a dog) !

Tenner to the first on the Forum to post a genuine pic of a man driving one because he wants to, and is not parking it for a dealer or reviewing it.

I can't believe they ever actually sell anything with that attitude.

On the practical side, its supposedly got Landrover's off road credentials but it weighs a fair bit more (so slower) and boot space is half of a hard top Evoques + it opens like a ski hatch ie you push stuff in rather than lift stuff in.

Still reckon it'll sell well though - in other parts of world (with warmer climates) if not in UK.
