Drivers door handle sticking

My previous GTS had this - took it to the dealership as I was passing one day; silicone spray was their solution (which I was going to try anyway)

i think this post confirms dealership service is found wanting, my indie lubs all hinges and locks when serviced amongst other things, not just changing oil and filter

Another one here with the occasional sticking door handle...not just the drivers door. It's the last 5mm where it doesn't spring back to touch the door. I'll try the wd40 trick.

Just collected my GTS from my local OPC after having repairs carried out on the sticking drivers door handle. I'd already tried WD40 (it worked for a week) and silicon spray (lasted a fortnight), so I decided to give it back to the dealer to see what they could do. They tell me they've been getting quite a few problems with sticky door handles recently.

It's now been stripped, greased and re-assembled it, so hopefully that'll cure it.

Wd40 is not a lubricant it’s a water disperser. It works for a bit then you will be back where you started. You would be better with an oil spray or even better graphite powder.

I too have a problem with the drivers door handle and the off-side rear passenger door handle sticking. Went to collect my Macan from Porsche Bolton at 5.00pm, the car had been there since 10.00am. Went to drive home, door handle stuck out!!! When we tried the rear door handle, same outcome. Smacks of poor quality control, lack of inspection. I was informed this is a known problem, My car is booked in again next Friday.

Visited Porsche Bolton 05/02/21 with regards having my Macan door handle looked at. According to the technician the moulding on the door Handle had excess Plastic and needed some attention. Had a vehicle health check done and they commented on the overall excellent condition of my GTS
