Drivers door handle sticking

Hi All,

My drivers side door is sticking in the open position and i;m having to forcibly push it back flush when i open the door. Any ideas? (2019 S).

I have the same problem with one of my door handles. Was going to book in into the OPC but keep forgetting to.

I had that with a back door handle.Seemed to right itself,although I didn't use the back door very much.

I have this with the back door handle and not only that but it sometimes requires more force than should be necessary to open the door. Some people think I haven’t unlocked the door so must be linked to the latch mechanism and not just handle hinge.

Haven’t noticed any cracks that some other owners have reported in the past but have booked mine in at OPC on 1st March as not what I expect from a 2 year old vehicle, and a Porsche at that.

I had the same with my drivers door handle when it was really icy a few weeks ago, so I applied a little silicon grease spray to the pivot areas which has seemed to fix the problem.

I had the same the other week on the drivers side front handle, gave it a couple of squirts of WD 40 seems to have cured it. I used to get the same on my Skoda vRS, which used to get the same treatment.

My Car has developed the same problem with the offside drivers door. I phoned Porsche Bolton and asked their advice, they said leave it alone and bring it the the centre for some adjustments. It’s booked in tmrw. I’ll post an update after my visit

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago on my Gen2 Macan with driver's door handle.
I assumed it was down to cold/frosty weather.
It's been fixed with WD40
