The Dirty Diesel is clean again

It's been a long hard winter for the SD making trip after trip in appalling weather. Decided to give it a treat using ECLAT Detailing. Two days work and very pleased with the results. Not too shabby for 4 years and 40k miles.........

Snow foam, Wash, Detar, Wash, Machine Polish, IPA wipe down, Ceramic Coating (Gyeon Pure), and then Gyeon Cure to finish it. Took out almost all the minor scratches. Highly recommended!

Not quite to the same level, but cleaned mine the other day and found an inexplicable crease in the top rounded section of the rear door and the tyres have gone brown!

Looks really good. Is it just the angle of the camera, or is the rear suspension higher than the front?

I thought the whole car looked a bit high or the tyres too low profile but there's not a vast amount of room behind and in front of the tyres.

Might just be ticking over in off road mode?

Tyres are the correct profile and type. I think the diesel models do sit higher, especially if they don't have the air suspension which I don't, just PASM.

Hi there, I see that you don't seem to have any tint in your windows, which is the look I'd like to configure.
Please, could you tell me which type of glass you have: Standard? Or insulated but without privacy tint?

Thank you! :)

That's a good question. As I purchased it second hand I am not really sure but this may help:-

4GC - Heat insulating top tinted Windscreen
QJ4 - Gloss Black window trim

That's all I can see that relates to the windows.

That's a good question. As I purchased it second hand I am not really sure but this may help:-

4GC - Heat insulating top tinted Windscreen
QJ4 - Gloss Black window trim
4KC - heat-insulating side and rear windows

That's all I can see that relates to the windows.
