I have a recurring issue with Porsche Connect, I think caused by Apple CarPlay.
On start up, the PCM connects to my phone and indicates that my personal profile is connected. A few seconds later (it seems to be when CarPlay loads up), the personal profile for Porsche Connect is lost. I can reconnect the personal profile by entering my 8 digit code each time but surely I should not need to do this.
Any ideas?

I have a Gen 2 Macan and used Apple Car Play for music. I always have to log into my PCM account manually too. It's just the way it is!
I'm not an Apple user but wonder if how you connect to the car makes a difference. Are you all connecting with Blue Tooth, with WiFi or both? It makes a difference to Nav so maybe for other facilities too.

I believe that the Porsche Connect uses Bluetooth and CarPlay is the internal car WiFi. The weird thing is that occasionally the phone will reconnect on it’s own a few minutes later. Other times it won’t.

Just joined the forum to find such a post. It’s an old thread but as I’ve just picked up MY21 Macan S with this exact issue I’d be grateful of an update on any solution that’s been found? My dealer is planning on raising this back to Porsche Germany so that may take a while and no guarantee there either. Any help appreciated
