On the basis trucks and vans now using this will be on the forecourts in a pump very soon. There were several stands at the C V Show last week at the NEC promoting pumps for forecourts so will be very easy to top up and all with be ISO bullsh*t I imagine as is petrol etc etc. Absolutely no need whatsoever to take it back to OPC, may as well get them to fill up with diesel and pay for air in the tyres if you doing that...........

Just been in to my local Shell filling station and a 10litre container of adblue inc filling hose was £13.49

Good find. So if you wait until the Adblue warning comes on, trhe tank should take 10 litres easily. So there should be no danger of overflow.

At my OPC for pick up on Friday I asked about Adblue and when it should need top up, my SE told me that it would be about 6K, as Porsche may not be filling the tankCensored. I see that Halfords are now selling it, but seem to have jumped on the band wagon, as they are charging £20 for 4 litresAngry. Also told not to try DIY, as Adblue is corrosive and would strip the paint- reallyShocked

I think I will be doing this myself.. plenty of videos on youtube and they don't wear gloves! pretty simple really - even for me!

And to the correct ISO standard that Porsche state for the Cayenne but surely it would be the same for the Macan? Better check the manual... Ouch

Seem to be couple threads on this. See my other thread but bascially put a cloth under filler cap and ensured hose was on standby. Spoke to OPC and told me they did 2, one took 9L one 12L so was safe in knowledge my 10L Shell container would be fine. There is alot of air in tank and it does gurggle back and splash out so be very careful but no way would I pay per 1L the OPC would charge!! Think the Shell 10L was £20, did take a few minutes to get it all in just be careful.

From various messages on the basis that 9-12000m can use 10 litres are people filling up ever so often as I have a 2000 mile journey pending, having done 4000m (assuming I had a full tank on delivery) it seems sensible to me to add some as I have 3x1.89L in the garage.
Proposing to add lets say two bottles or am I better off just adding one as I can easily add a second after the trip?

won't need anything until 8-10,000miles from my experience. Wait for light to come on. Also don't store it as short shelf life.

Malik,
Thanks, I opted to use the 3x packs as I would need to use them before the years end anyway, post as you have seen elsewhere.
It would be interesting to see how those with the 10L plus pipe delivery system get along too, I aim to cover many more miles before refilling, which ever way.
Obviously 3x bottles is of some importance as a minimum qty as the add-blue, which the manual says is the minimum (for the car measuring system)?, the size of the Porsche add-blue carry case etc!
