Google Earth not Working!

Google Earth doesn't seem to working .... just whirring round on the screen. Is this as I'm not subscribed to Porsche Connect?

Almost certainly. You won’t be able to do online searches or Over the Air updates (already mentioned I think)

I haven't subscribed yet as I use Apple car play .... but for 119 quid I suppose I better had!

Depends on your use case and perception of value in such things but I don’t think it’s unreasonable and is useful these days so, while I chose not to have it the Macan, I would do it now and have renewed the subscription for the 911.

Be aware that the cars have a recall for a software update and I understand Google Earth is no longer licensed. Porsche uses another vendor for mapping

Still the same... not working . I have a Data sim installed in the car with 20GB etc. Any ideas?

How old is the car? I know some time ago Google changed the whole way google Earth/Maps is licensed. It used to be freeware and then Google added licensing, depending on how you used it ie privately or commercially. If Porsche didn’t agree to pay for license then it wouldn’t work any more. But if new Porsche’s also use Google then I wouldn’t have thought that was the issue.

My Porsche is paid & activated. Twitter & online works, fuel etc.... but Google maps just spinning as usual
