Washed the 911 last night and this view reminded me why I love this car so much
Then I thought about the others. I prefer the arse of 3 and front of the others.

Shakespeare said " Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Compared to the likes of the original E Type or Lamborghini Muira, I've never seen any Porsche as beautiful. Doesn't mean I don't love my Macan.
Your MkII Jaguar would be fairly high up on my list of beautiful cars.

100% agree, Porsches aren’t at all beautiful just functional and great drives but I do like that rear end, not so much the front!On-Track wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 5:53 pm Shakespeare said " Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Very nice, but being the observant that I am, can I just give a word of warning. If you go abroad in the 911, the French would love to fine you a Zillion Euro’s for not having UK on your reg plate, our good neighbours.
Thank you and will be in handTheTraveller wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 7:45 am Very nice, but being the observant that I am, can I just give a word of warning. If you go abroad in the 911, the French would love to fine you a Zillion Euro’s for not having UK on your reg plate, our good neighbours.
Lotus has already been to Spa last month and is displaying the correct plate !
Will change this one in advance of any euro trip - front plate it cracked anyway !

IMO, the Jag MKll is the best looking car ever made. Love everything about it and the Daimler 250. My Dad and Mom had about 4 MKlls and a Daimler 250.
I do like the rear of a 911 as well.

IMO, I think the best rear of any car, up to and including our Mac’s, which are close, is that of the 928. It’s absolutely curvaceous and Peachy. A styling brilliance, and one which has yet to be bettered.
But it’s not shown, what a shame.
