I should probably lay off the espresso, don’t you think?
I hope you don't become less active on this forum once you've taken delivery of your car as you will be missed. 😊
Naw. I’m assuming thats on entertainment value alone. 🀣

One up side of the current availability fiasco is that some forum users are able to bring a much wider debate to areas previously not focused on...

SAC1 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 9:04 am It's not just Porsche. Any build to order premium car maker is having similar problems. Even UK ones like JLR.

I know someone who ordered a RR Velar in May. He has no information on when he will get it. Best guess by the dealer "first half of 2022" as advised by Land Rover.
Yes but JLR are warning of up to a 12 month wait for cars. They even have a notice on their webpage. I was told our car would be built October and delivered beginning of November. The system has now stopped updating and even the dealership principal can't get info out of Porsche. I don't mind if im told bad news, I just don't like being left in the dark.
And BMW are apparently saying that if you want a 340i earliest delivery will be April but it will be built without a navigation screen and possibly heated seats

Speaking to my SE yesterday the estimate has slipped. When I ordered mid September his best guess was February. Now his guesstimate is march/april. He said that he couldn't be more definitive until mid December when the allocation will be finalised. Now he is with Dick Lovett South West and there are 4 dealerships. I would imagine they have a group allocation plan so that they can smooth out the deliveries. Remember there will be many orders that were just a punt and will be cancelled before lockdown so vagueness can be excused.

Last week I was told my car was in Emden. This morning I've had notification that it is now in Sheerness. It's a Cayenne rather than a Macan, but good to note that once they are ready to ship they are getting here pretty quickly now.

Mine has changed since Friday and is now showing as at Emden. I really hope it doesn't end up sitting there for weeks..

Thanks. Mine went from moving to compound to at Emden over the weekend, which is hopefully a good sign. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It looks like VAG have been pushing chips towards Porsche. VW sales down, Porsche up.
