Good morning all,
I thought I’ll update you all regarding my PEC experience.
To remind you all, on my day at the PEC, I was given a Macan 2.0 to drive, where on my booking it stated Macan S, same as my new order.
I had written to PEC to investigate why this was the case and after a couple of days investigating, they had found that when they entered the car license into the system to pull from their pool of cars, they had entered incorrectly one of the characters and allocated me the wrong car to me drive.
They have very kindly apologised and offered me another half day PEC experience with the Macan S.
Thank you all to those who asked me to follow up with PEC on this matter.

You could ask for a go in a proper car (911) instead as you know what a Macan is like now

It really is what I would have expected from the PEC.
One tip for the future, you may well get an a Range Day where you get to drive or experience each model on specific parts of the circuits, the rub is that these often take place around the F1GP when access to the circuit can be problematic and even then the low friction circuit and straights will be out of action as they are set up for helicopter arrivals and for hospitality.

Good result, but you'd have thought as part of the check-in process on the day they would check the selected vehicle was correct.
