EV Macan
I speculate, not a snowball in hell chance of Macan EV in 2023 - ‘24 earliest…

Look at Taycan launch. The most powerful first, then the lower. Why have they withdrawn Turbo in advance form ICE Macans other than to reserve label for 1st EV Macan?
2019 Macan S Porsche code PKW8WKI8
Because the Turbo designation is out of place on an EV, and they're preparing for the GTS to sit at the top of such a range? Pure speculation, of course...

Agreed. I was told that a month or so ago. Maybe announced late '23 but deliveries not until '24, but given all the disruptions that are continuing and will do for some time it seems likely the launch could slip.

I expect 2024 for Macan EV assuming it’s largely based on the Audi A6 e-Tron due in 2023. Should be a decent car if a lot of part sharing goes on.
There’s far less scope to differentiate Porsche from Audi (Skoda, VW etc) with an EV platform and power train.

Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70

Possible look of the Macan EV . If it looks anything like this I for one will be dropping a deposit on it.
Don’t think it will look like that TK - think this is an early rendering I saw last year, based on the Taycan front end?
But the point is, it COULD like like that so let’s hope it does and not like the more recent spy shots…

On the basis that nearly all EV cars have similar floor plans and the same washing machines front and rear, I wonder how long it’ll be before you simply purchase a base and decide what bodyshell to have fitted to it.
Macan S MY 2023
This Was done from spy shots taken 4 months ago Jon, in fairness and I may have to eat my words on this, certainly in the latest line up Porsche don’t do ugly cars. I’m sure it will look the D’s B’s
They don’t do ugly cars at the moment, but the Cayenne of around 2011 was possibly the ugliest car I have ever seen!TK421 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 8:28 pmThis Was done from spy shots taken 4 months ago Jon, in fairness and I may have to eat my words on this, certainly in the latest line up Porsche don’t do ugly cars.
